It may have been a selfish act yes, and trust me, this coming from one of his best friends, i am as anti-suicide as they come.

I am currently deployed to Iraq and received the news in an email the night after. Over the course of the last few days it has become considerably harder to do my job due to the mental blow that this event has incurred upon me. Dana's family was not well off, that fact was well known i believe.

And it would be a shame not to be able to honor his unique personality, and the joy that he brought to so many of our lives.

If he were to die he wanted to be cremated and baked into some brownies to be handed out at the reception of his funeral, that way when someone said "We all have a small bit of Dana in all of us." it could be in the most literal since.

I am sure that he wouldnt want us all moping around about his passing to say the least, but i am also positive that he would want us
all to understand that it was his choice. And i want him to know that i am still kicking his butt when i get up there for this.
