Monahans, Billy Don Bridgewater 23, of San Angelo passed away August 8, 2008 in Fayetville, North Carolina. He was born October 15, 1984, in Clovis, NM to Corrina Bridgewater.

His mother, Corrina Bridgewater, preceded him in death. Corrina's sisters adopted Billy as their own. He was greatly loved and will be missed greatly by his family. He was a wonderful man. Sargent Billy served his country in the Army for 4 years in the 82nd Airborne and was stationed in Afganastan for 18 months. He enjoyed fishing spending time with all his friends and boxing. He boxed for the army for the first 18 months.

Billy is survived by his parents, Kim & Ricky Kniskern, Yvonne Wanoreck, Andrea & Evan Campbell, and Karen Smith; Brothers, Joshua Smith, Pvt. Keith Kniskern, Sgt. Brian Perrin, and Ethan Wanoreck, Sisters, Shayla Smith, Karen & Bob Hudson, Tiffany & Jason Hutsell, Kirsten Harris, Terri Jo Smith, and Mindy Smith. Memorials: Casualty Assistance Center, C/O Fallen Afganastan Soldiers Families, Building 126 Battalion Ave. Fort Hood, TX 76544. Graveside services will be at 2:00 PM, Sunday September 7, 2008 at Monahans Memorial Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Martinez-Smith & Miller.
