Rachelle Marie Clark, 18, of Paul Avenue, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008, in Barre.

Born on April 28, 1990, in Berlin, she was the daughter of Christopher and Debra (McAllister) Clark. She graduated in June of 2008 from Union-32 High School in East Montpelier.

For the past two summers, she had worked at the Dairy Crème in Montpelier and recently began work at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin in the food service department.

While attending U-32 High School, she served on the Senior Yearbook Committee and took part in track and soccer. Rachelle loved animals, especially her dog and cat.

She is survived by her parents, Christopher and Debra Clark; her sister, Shelby Clark; and her brother, Ryan Clark, all of Berlin; her paternal grandfather, Charles Clark Jr. and his wife, Catherine; her maternal grandparents, James and Margaret McAllister, all of Williamstown; uncles and aunts, Matthew and Mary Ellen Orr of South Barre, Carole Morin of Williamstown, Jon and Mimi Untiedt of Salisbury, N.C., Dennis and Donna Desrosiers of Westport, Mass., and Daniel McAllister of Williamstown; and several cousins.

Her paternal grandmother, Ann Clark, and her uncle, John McAllister, predeceased her.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at the convenience of the family in the Hooker and Whitcomb Funeral Home, 7 Academy Street, Barre. Interment will be in the Wilson Cemetery in Websterville. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.
