Jacob Richard Gallas, age 17, of Crown Point, passed away tragically on August 8, 2008. He was a dear friend to many and touched the lives of everyone who had the fortune to encounter him. Jacob was a unique individual and filled his life with flair for the dramatic; he lived to express. Jacob will be missed by many and loved by all. He is survived by his beloved best friend Kasey Hinson; loving parents Rebecca and Douglas Gallas; and his brother forever, Nicholas Gallas; maternal grandparents, Beverly (Garry) Rinkenberger and Richard R. The Funeral services, Tuesday, August 12, 2008, 10:00 a.m. at the Burns Funeral Home, 10101 Broadway, Crown Point, IN. Interment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, IN. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, August 11, at the Burns Funeral from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
