Ryan Richard Standridge, 21, of Seaside, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2007, in Seaside.

Born July 7, 1985, in Seaside, he was the son of William Leon and Diane Elizabeth (Ezell) Standridge. His mother survives, residing in Gearhart. His father and stepmother, Michelle Standridge, formerly of Cannon Beach, also survive.

He graduated from Seaside High School in 2003.

He was employed at Doogers Restaurant in Cannon Beach for the past seven years.

He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints.

Family members said he enjoyed golf, fishing, camping, computers and spending time with his friends. He had strong political views.

In addition to his parents and stepmother, he is survived by three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Meghan and Jeramy Houston and Mandy and David Ferguson, all of Seaside, and Emma Standridge of Fargo, N.D.; a brother and sister-in-law, Barney and Katie Grant of Sherwood; two grandparents, Eldon and Elizabeth Standridge of Raleigh, N.C.; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hughes-Ransom Cremation & Mortuaries Seaside Chapel. A reception will follow in the ballroom at the Shilo Oceanfront Resort, 30 N. Prom in Seaside.
