Adam Michael Schwass, 22, of Cincinnati, Ohio, nephew of Kankakee residents, died Monday (May 14, 2007) at his home from an unexpected accident. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bonaface and James Catholic Church in Ludlow, Ky., followed by a funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m.
Burial will be in Kentucky. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are by the Middendorf-Bullock Funeral Home in Ludlow.
Mr. Schwass was a salesman and musician. He was born March 4, 1985, in Ludlow, Ky., the son of Fred and Wanda Seidner Schwass. He was a musician and chef.
Surviving in addition to his mother of Ludlow, are two sisters, Lauren Schwass of Indiana and Ashley Olenger of Kentucky; four brothers, Ryan Schwass and friend Greta of Covington, Ky., Brad and Brent Schwass of Ludlow, and Kyle Olenger of Kentucky; grandmother, Dianne Schwass; and several aunts and uncles in the area.
Deceased are his father; paternal grandfather, George Schwass; maternal grandparents; and one uncle, Kurt.
