Lisa K. Vickery, 19, of Lake Hopatcong, died on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009. Lisa was born in Morristown and lived in Lake Hopatcong and attended Morris Knolls Adult School in Denville, N.J. She struggled with diabetes for six years and loved to play guitar.
She was predeceased by her brother, Warren A. Walters; and grandparents, Moira E. and George W. Lloyd; and the late Garnett Vickery. Lisa is survived by her beloved sister, Kali A. Vickery; devoted mother, Nancy E. Vickery; uncle, Douglas G. Lloyd and his wife, Mary; aunt, Phyllis Klump and her husband, Alan; and aunt, Kathleen Lloyd-Boehm. She is also survived by four cousins.
Friends may call Sunday, Feb. 22, 2009, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta, N.J. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, N.J. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Lisa's memory to: Morris County SPCA, PO Box 55, Hibernia,N.J. 07842.
