RIDE, Shannon G. 17, of Beavercreek, OH died March 14, 2009 in Englewood, OH. She was born July 8, 1991 in Dayton, OH to Claire Boyer and Jeffrey L. Ride. Shannon was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church and was a junior at Beavercreek High School. Survivors in addition to her parents include 5 brothers, Clay Ride, Memphis, TN, Matt Guthrie, Columbus, OH, Nick Guthrie, Chicago, IL and David Ride, Memphis; a sister, Gina Morrison, Memphis, TN; Maternal grandmother, Mary Pat Boyer, Jacksonville, FL; Paternal grandmother, Helen (Earle) Hogarth, Richmond, VA; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her best friend, Maggie McCartney. Preceded in death by a brother, Joshua. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in St. Helen Catholic Church with family receiving friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Springfield, OH. Memorial donations may be made to the Suicide Prevention Center, P.O. Box 1393, Dayton, OH 45401.
