Funeral services for Mr. William Robert Lucas Foshee, age 26, of Nacogdoches, will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, October 9, 2008, at Laird Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Mangham officiating. Interment will follow in Nat Cemetery. Robert passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008. He was born May 21, 1982, in Nacogdoches, Texas, the son of Phillip W. Foshee and Jo Sanford Conn. Robert proudly represented his country as a gas turbine system mechanical technician in the United States Navy, serving in the Persian Gulf where he was awarded the Battle "E" Ribbon, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal and Navy Unit Commendation Medal. He served on the U.S.S. Leyte Gulf CG55 out of Norfolk, Virginia. He was a 2000 graduate of Douglass High School. Robert worked for Cook Tire and Service Center as a tire repairman. Robert is survived by parents, Jo and Alton Conn and Phillip and Linda Foshee; a daughter, Cheyenne Summers of Nacogdoches, Texas; a son, Timothy Foshee of Fort Worth, Texas; a sister, Stephanie Honea of Fort Worth, Texas; three brothers, Doug Honea of Fort Worth, Texas, Derrick Foshee of Nacogdoches, Texas, Brandon Conn of Fort Worth, Texas; and his beloved canine companions, Gordo and Buddy. Pallbearers will be Robert Baker, Paul Lyons, Raymond Murillo, Keith Lansdale, Steven Montes and Matt Bryan. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2008, at Laird Funeral Home. Laird Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
