I heard the terrible news via facebook. What I was reading wasn't real, but it was.
My best friend, Andy Landers, whom I have known since I was 5 years old, passed away at his home due to possible overdose.

My first reaction was panic, anger, confusion and yelling profanities from my mouth. I didnt care.

Andy was my best friend even though we lost touch later in our teenage years at the end of high school. But he would call me from time to time to see how I was doing or I would too. We shared many moments and memories together, most which wouldn't fit on here. His humor was a beacon to us all and his charm, infectious. He shared his passion of music with everyone he knew. He got me into music that I never thought I would and I thank him for that. I will always remember him as the goofy, outgoing, upbeat party animal who lived on Housely Dr.

Andy Landers, I love you man and I miss you. I wish I could stop time and ask God to let us hang out one last time. But He wanted to take you away from all the bad in the world and I believe that.

Thank you for the crazy times, laughs, memories, moments, music and everything else. Music blaring, eating at Kincaid's, Country Burger, Family Reunion and Sun Tea, Middle School football, East Campus, Senior trip and guitar at 3am, going to ranger games, spending time with my family, being a brother.

This goes out to you...
"For the life of me I cannot remember
What made us think that we were wise and
We'd never compromise
For the life of me I cannot believe
We'd ever die for these sins..."

RIP Andy.
