Brenton Sanders, 24 of Soddy Daisy found peace on August 12, 2008.

Brenton, born February 24, 1984, attended St. Jude School and Notre Dame High School. Brenton was full of life, loved by all of his teachers and friends and passionate about serving those less fortunate. At Notre Dame he was known for his artistic talent and poetry. He was on the Notre Dame Swim Team and his relay team made the finals in the State Swim Meet which was one of Brenton's proudest accomplishments and highlights of his Swimming career.

Brenton attended Austin Peay University and Chattanooga State. He was employed at Eye Care Associates. He was a volunteer for the Remote Area Medical Organization (RAM) which serves indigent patients with no insurance in rural areas all over the USA and Ghana. Brenton & his father, Chuck ministered and served orphans on a mission trip to Costa Rica.

Brenton was preceded in death by his grandfathers Charles Sanders, Sr. and Willie Chapman, and Aunt Ruth Hood.

Brenton is survived by his parents Chuck & Kate Sanders, grandmothers Ruby Sanders and Francis Chapman, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Jude Church, 930 Ashland Terrace, Chattanooga, TN at 10:30 AM on Friday, August 15, 2008. Family will receive friends at the church at 10:00 AM before the Service. There will be a celebration of Brenton's life at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 15 at the Sanders home, 1738 Rivergate Terrace, Soddy Daisy, TN.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations made to Remote Area Medical Organization (RAM), 1834 Beech Street, Knoxville, TN 37920.
