Starbucks had a big corporation meeting yesterday, and my sister was there. They were told that is was a suicide. Dustin sent a text message to someone that he worked with saying that he would not be coming to work. Then he parked his car in a garage, and started the car. He died from carbon monoxide poisoning. They were positive that it was suicide, and not an accident. They had more details, but they were not allowed to release them at the meeting.


Dustin A. Rewerts 21, Brownsburg, died Aug. 5, 2007. He was shift supervisor at the Avon Starbucks and a graduate of Brownsburg High School. Survivors included parents Rick and Kelly Rewerts; brother Richard Rewerts; grandparents Fern Rewerts, and George and Linda Bell; partner Bryon Bee. Memorial services will be 1 pm Thurs. Aug. 9 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation from 12 noon. Entombment will be at West Ridge Park Cemetery.
