Sadly, on February 24th, 2002, Wes was suddenly taken away to a better place. He left behind a loving family and hundreds of friends. The very large funeral home was not even big enough to hold all of the people that showed up for his viewing. Showing that Wes had a profound impact on so many people in his life that was cut short entirely too soon. He currently rests in peace at St. Mary's cemetary in his hometown of Latrobe. No one's death comes to pass without making some impression, especially Wes, being the exceptional person that he was, and those close to him inherited part of his liberated soul and became richer in their own lives. May he live on in the thoughts and hearts of those people.
