Russell "Zombie" Jackson, age 18 of Kenosha, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 16, 2008.

Born in Kenosha on May 7, 1989 to Mickey D. and Linda L. (Welk) Jackson, he attended local schools, including Reuther and Mary D. Bradford High Schools.

Russell was previously employed with the Nike Factory Store.

He enjoyed skateboarding and practiced mixed martial arts. He even looked forward to getting involved with the U.F.C. one day. However, Russell's true passions involved music. He himself was a growing musician. He excelled at the drums and the guitar, and was the drummer for the local bands: Kill the Messenger and Morabound.

Above all else, he really loved to hang out with his friends and listen to his favorite band, Slipknot. He will always be remembered for his unique views on the world and those in it. And although his dreams will never be realized, the gift of his life will live on in those who knew and loved him.
