Andrew Michael "Mini" Plott, 18, of Patrick Air Force Base, Fla., died Friday at his residence. He was formerly of Toney. He was a 2006 graduate of Hazel Green High School. He was serving in the U.S. Air Force and had returned from Iraq in September. He is survived by his parents, Shane and Katie Plott of Toney; sister, Courtney Plott of Fort Lee, Va.; brother, Christopher Plott of Anaheim Hills, Calif.; grandparents, Rick and Linda Plott of Anaheim Hills; grandmother, Dottie Robins of Henry, Va.; and great-grandfather, Dean Wilson of Dallas. Arrangements are being handled by Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be at Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints Sparkman Ward at 2 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be at Nashville National Cemetery, Nashville. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hazel Green High School NJROTC.
