Kayla Marie Simonetti, 19, of 167 Windy Way, Reedsville, went to be in the arms of Jesus at 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at her residence.
Born May 18, 1987, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of Christopher G. and Pamela (Miller) Simonetti of Reedsville.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Tobin S. Simonetti, at home; paternal grandparents, Frank and Freda Simonetti, of Milroy; maternal grandparents, Dr. Gorman and Patricia Miller, Danville; and a host brother, Jesse Strickland, whom resides in the residence.
She was a student at the South Hills Business School in the Medical Office Specialties. She was employed at the Lewistown Hospital for Dr. Parmar and Moon Brothers Landscaping.
She was a graduate of Indian Valley High School Class of 2005. She was a member of the Evangel Baptist Church, where she taught AWANA, and Children's Church. She was a member of the Indian Valley Choir and Indian Valley Ensemble, concert band and marching band; District Choir 2004-2005; Regional Choir 2004-2005 and State Choir 2005; National Honor Society; and a member of the christian band Messenger as lead vocalist.
Her funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Bible Church, Calvary Lane, Lewistown, with the Rev. Dr. Darrell Wireman and the Rev. Dave Purdy officiating. Interment will be in Juniata Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Heller-Hoenstine Burnham Funeral Home, 108 First Ave., Burnham, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Monday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Evangel Baptist Church, 375 W. Fifth Street, Lewistown, PA 17044.
