Nathanael Austin Parrish, 17, of New Concord, died early Monday (Nov. 5, 2007) at his home.
He was born June 16, 1990, in Cambridge, son of Mark A. and Gwen Holland Parrish of New Concord.
Nathanael was a senior at John Glenn High School and a sophomore at Zane State College in the post secondary program.
He enjoyed engineering, computer assisted design, skateboarding and music, especially playing his guitar and drums.
He was a member of the youth organization at United Church of God of Cambridge.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Dalton A. Parrish; maternal grandmother, Retha Holland of Green Valley, Ariz.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Mock-Miller Funeral Home, New Concord, with Pastor Randy Stiver officiating. The family will meet with relatives and friends from 6 to 7 p.m., following the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to United Church of God, P.O. Box 541027, Cincinnati, OH 45254, to provide camp scholarships at United Youth Camps, an experience enjoyed by Nathanael.
Private interment for the family will be held.
