Services will be today in Quincy for a 19-year-old student who died while attending Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.
Jackson County's coroner says an autopsy shows that last Thursday's sudden death of Alex Booth was caused when 1 of his brain's blood vessels ruptured.
Booth was a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering. He was found unresponsive by his roommate and was declared dead a short time later at a hospital.
The coroner says toxicology tests were negative.
