On October 24th, 2006, a day before my own birthday, Matilda Platten hung herself. This occured during a particular time period where a number of teenage suicides were blamed on the influence of MySpace. I care a lot for my friend Tija, to whom Matilda was her best friend, and with Tija's blessing I have decided to submit Matilda Rose's name to the site so that others may pay respects to a girl I only know in Tija's memories.
