VERMILLION -- THANG-POVI (SUNFLOWER) ARIELLE CHANEL August 27, 1991 - February 19, 2007 Our beloved Arielle went to be with her grandparents, Lorencita Naranjo Vermillion and Wilmont Edward Vermillion, and Our Lord on February 19, 2007. Words cannot express the loss we feel. She was loved by everyone who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. She was a beautiful, loving, kind young woman. She enjoyed flamenco dancing and participating in the Santa Clara Pueblo Feast Day dances. Arielle loved animals and writing poetry. Most of all, she loved her family and her many friends. Arielle was a first year student at Santa Fe High School and active in the Naval Junior ROTC. She was interested in following in the footsteps of her grandparents, both retired U.S. Navy officers. Arielle is survived by her parents, Jerry and Pattie Vermillion, and her brother Derrick Whitlock of Santa Fe; she is also survived by her aunt and uncle, Debra and Charles Whitlock of Las Cruces, NM. and her extended family at Santa Clara Pueblo. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2007, 1:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 26, 2007, 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Cathedral.
