New information is becoming available about the death of a UNLV football player. 21-year old Robert Travers, a junior who wore number 58 died Wednesday night.

The coroner say he died from carbon monoxide inhalation and ruled it a suicide. The defensive lineman went to Desert Pines High School and graduated in 2004.

Travers started the last four games of this past season. UNLV head football coach Mike Sanford released a statement saying that Robert will be missed and his family will remain in the team's thoughts and prayers.
