From a friend's blog:

It has now been 2 months since Trin died. It is still a little bit unreal to me. I feel better about her death, yet I am more sure now that I made a mistake with her. People tell me that I made the right decision to walk away from her, But I tend to disagree. The more I think about it, the deeper my belief goes. There was NO help in walking away. There was nothing but making her feel more lonely and unloved. There would have been nothing bad in staying by her side. I should have learned how not to enable her, but still have the courage to wrap my arms around her and tell her that she would make it through. I was just hoping that if she saw her friends feeling so hurt and hopeless, that maybe, even if she couldn't quit using for herself, she could for the important people who she was losing. That was incredibly selfish of me. Now, I am not beating myself up over this, but I am learning from it.

I still talk to her mom. I love Trish and I see so much of Trin in her. When I see her, I have to hold her and I sometimes close my eyes and pretend she is Trin. I miss Trinity. Terribly.

Jen and I still talk about her constantly. We are still grieving very hard. I haven't talked much to Justin lately, He is so busy. I worry about him. The same thing goes for Chrissy.

I am now more convinced than ever that Trin took her own life, that it was less an accidental overdose that her just giving up. I have heard from a source that there may be proof of this somewhere.

I hope grieving for her will bring more knowledge and that I can learn to do and what not to do for future friendships.

Thank you Trinny for teaching me so much.
