http://www.centralmaine.com/2017/03/...dical-reports/The examination, to include a neuropsychological evaluation to assess brain function, is to be done under two categories — one for insanity and abnormal conditions or mind, and the other for mental condition relating to other issues, such as post traumatic stress, according to court documents.
The report is to be sent to the defendant and his attorneys, but is otherwise impounded by the court.
In her motion for a forensic evaluation, Zainea said the circumstances of Valerie Tieman’s death suggest Luc Tieman may have had mental illness issues, including neuropsychological issues. She noted that Luc Tieman was on his way to the Togus VA Medical Center in Augusta for crisis intervention Sept. 21, the day he was arrested.
The murder is alleged to have taken place Aug. 25 — 15 days before Valerie Tieman’s parents reported her missing and five days before Tieman claimed his wife disappeared from the Wal-Mart parking lot in Skowhegan, although he did not report her missing. Her body was found Sept. 20. Valerie Tieman had been reported missing Sept. 9 by her parents who live in South Carolina.
Zainea in her motion also noted that potential witnesses and people who know Luc Tieman considered him to be someone who was suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder from his service overseas in the military. She also notes that he may have been injured in a mortar attack and could have suffered physical injuries.
Tieman is a disabled Army veteran who served in Iraq, Smith has said.

Inside Valerie Tieman’s shallow grave, police, in September 2016, found a Mason jar containing flower stems, a wedding band and a handwritten note on an index card.
The note opened with the words “To my one and only Joy-Joy. Flower. Forever.”
The words in the note read: “I love you Valerie Joy T. I’ll love you forever. Rest in peace. My heart in Jesus,” with an X and an O, “hugs,” exclamation points, and an apparent reference to Luc Tieman’s marriage nickname “Luc-e” the bear.Under the body, Bryant testified, police found a potato chip bag, a box of SweeTarts candy, a plaid shirt and a blue-and-gold woven knit hat.
Beneath the body police also found a bottle of Gucci perfume called Guilty.
Ohhhh Gawd. That picture is priceless.
I'm so glad I am not on that jury. I wouldn't be able to keep it together.
It sounds like he dug the hole and thought "let me put her favorite things in with her"

I knew you guys would all appreciate the picture. You're welcome!
Is no one going to comment on the name of the perfume? I'm kind of disappointed in you guys.
Call me curious af, but I just had to see the woman that was involved in a love triangle with this guyWednesday, we learned more about the complicated personal lives of the Tiemans. Jurors heard testimony about the love triangle between Luc, Valerie and Billi Jo Hawes, a woman Tieman met on Facebook in the weeks leading up to Valerie's death, and whom he moved in with just one day after Valerie was killed.

http://www.newscentermaine.com/artic...s/97-535549671"So who shot her?" one of the officers asked. "She has two bullets in her brain."
"Seriously?" Tieman replied.
"Yeah, seriously," the officer said. "The game is up Luc ? we want the truth."
Tieman continued to defend himself, even asking the officers, "if I killed my wife why would I leave a note down there [buried with her body] incriminating myself?"
According to the records, the day Luc allegedly "had sex" with his "new girlfriend" Billi Jo Hawes was the same day Valerie had called him 31 times. Luc would only answer the last phone call, which lasted just over 13 minutes. Police believe he was home by the time the phone call ended.
The next morning, Valerie would receive a message from another woman about Luc cheating on her. She wouldn't be heard from again after that.
Tieman's defense questioned the phone records for Aug. 26, 2016, between Luc and Valerie. The detective couldn't confirm who the message was actually sent from, alluding to the fact it could have possibly been Valerie.
Jurors were also shown a video of Luc driving in his truck, focusing on the blanket in the backseat.
Texts were also read, which included Tieman saying "Val is out of my life now ? so there's nothing holding me back."
It is not clear if Tieman will be testifying or not. If convicted he faces 25 years to life in prison.
Does she have teeth? I feel like she doesn?t. Maybe that?s why he?s cheated. She gives a good bj
