Some of Arias' actions seem like the kind of psychological twists you would see in a movie. For example, the cleansing of the 'dirty' sexual images - washing the sins away by symbolically placing the camera in the washer. Stabbing him directly through the heart as that was where she was injured by him. Slitting his throat ('if' she knew of any rituals associated with religion - the emphasis on if - Arias loves gruesome). It all adds up to the kind of horror movie I would be far too scared to watch. Sadly, it s real.

I agree with all that. Her Lady McBeth moment while talking to Dect. Flores really stood out to me too.
He mentions and bloody hand print found at the scene and she just stares at her hands. I can totally picture her saying "out damn spot".

I don't think Stabby was injured in her heart. I think she is incapable of love. But I do think stabbing him in the heart could have held some symbolism for her, in that that is where normal, functioning people feel love.

I meant from her perspective, she was broken hearted. Nothing concerns Arias more than her own injured feelings. She spins romantic tales and delights in false intimacies, gushing and giggling stupidly. I agree that real love isn't demonstrated by slaughtering and butchering. Arias isn't interested in love, just being in love.
