Why do these people have to do this shit in public? Just shot yourself at home like a normal suicidal person. That way you dont traumatize people.

I agree with this. Although this situation breaks my heart, they could have easily done this at home. Still not ideal because someone would have to find them, but at least not involve the public.

Wonder how he's going to live and feel after surviving it.

Maybe they had to do it in public because they couldn't afford a firearm any other way?

Or we are just trying to make sense of what feels so senseless. Sad when people feel like death is the only/best option.

My guess is that Jenna is right and they couldn't afford/didn't want to spend the money on a firearm.

I am curious if he will be in a vegatative state after this or actually be conscious.

This happens every few years in Central Florida. Sometimes it's tourist because they market gun ranges to people from states with stricter firearm laws and the people from England/Europe also seem to like to go to gun range while doing the Disney thing. I don't get it personally. This couple was a local though.

I keep forgetting to look for the case that that thread reminds me of.

Did the bullet even go into his head? He only had a compress to head, so I think not.

You would think the gun not firing would be a sign he shouldnt do it. If it was a true suicide pact, I feel bad for him.
