Nancy Grace doesn't have her soft filter on. Ouch.
Nancy Grace doesn't have her soft filter on. Ouch.
Why is she always shouting? Doesn't she know she is miked?
Need another link for today's proceedings, the link that was posted is very low quality.
"...Jeffrey Dahmer... actually confessed and accepted his punishment. Had real remorse for the sick things he did. It's pretty bad when Jeffrey Dahmer is a better person than you are." ~Justice11 (re: Jodi Arias)
New tag..saucer sized nipples...bwahahahaa!
Nancy is so rude! And these two men are morons
What a damn prude. NG was correcting that woman from saying panties to underwear. Women wear panties you fucking moron. I wear PANTIES.
In the prison, the women all have pink shirts, pink panties, and the striped convict outfit. NG is mad about the panties and the fact that all of Jodi's pod inmates have nothing bad to say about her and they believe her story. The guard said Jodi is quiet, reads a lot and gets along with everyone there.
Here is a better version of today, but it's only a partial video.
Is this really a thing? Does anyone know if there are any cases where it would appear that the prosecutor's (un)likability appeared to have had an effect on the outcome of the case? I know a lot of people said Ashton was arrogant, but I thought it was the charges (not his personality) that dicked it all up. I don't think he's threatened by the witness. If he was, it seems like he wouldn't be up there making a big show of it all. I guess it's a difference in interpretation, because I think that aggression is intended to emphasize the ridiculousness of the guy's claims.
Yes, he can do his job without being a dick, but Jodi could have gotten dumped without stabbing and shooting a man. No pussyfooting around it. I kind of wanted to throw up when Nurmi was giving Leslie Udy that shit-eating grin when she took the stand. It's just...an angry case.
I agree that Martinez just might alienate the jury with his aggression/bullying of witnesses.
Yes, it's really an issue. There's been plenty of cases that it has been speculated the defendant was convicted because they hated the counsel. Whether it be the prosecutor or defense. One that I know of for a fact and I've mentioned it before is the Cory Maye case. He was convicted and sent to death row (who has since been released) and one of the jurors admitted to voting guilty simply because she hated his attorney. It's real and not being snarky, but if you don't think the jury convicts or releases based on emotion then you're behind.
Jodi could have done a lot different, but that's irrelevant when it comes to whether or not the jury likes the counsel. Obviously, had she not went batshit this trial wouldn't be taking place right now.
Lol that's too cute.
