What I'm wondering is why no one is mentioning yet that the Medical Examiner's PROFESSIONAL opinion states that the gunshot came last, and from a much further distance than Jodi claims?? I'm hoping Juan puts that in his closing argument cuz that little fact right there could get her the DP, if she shot him in the head after he was already dead, she'll get the needle.

Well DUHHHHHHH because Jodi herself said she did not agree with his claims. So obviouslyyyyyyyyyyy we should just push aside the ME's professional and well-experienced.

Anywhore, seeing Jodi today after a nice long weekend of not hearing her bullshit kind of made my stomach turn. Also, Nurmi is so unprepared, he doesn't have hard copies of the motion he himself filed yesterday? Really?? Of course Martinez being the consummate professional had hard copies for him.

I agree, this IMO is HUGE. she "remembers" the gunshot because it comports with the evidence the defense flipped about when Flores goofed in his sequencing.... The ME report says it all, and she chooses the gunshot so it doesn't look like she made him suffer... sickening, and I hope Juan gives it to the jury with chilling detail in his closing... I am sure he will.
On that note, I would have thunk the defense woulda brought in some whacky ME like the CA defense medical examiner dude to refute gunshot being last

Murder 1 is premeditated right? murder 2 is spur of the moment murder? Can you get the DP if it is not premeditated?

What I meant was if they had no other evidence, the autopsy photos alone still prove Murder 2. That cannot ever be explained as self defense.

Add all the other evidence against her and you have Murder 1, premeditated murder and she should get the DP.
