Veronica Butler (27) & Jilian Kelley (39) missing from Texas County, OK since 3/30/24

    https://abcnews.go.com/US/suspicious...y?id=108704090

The women, Veronica Butler, 27, and Jilian Kelley, 39, were traveling together to pick up children when they went missing, the bureau said in a statement.

"They never made it to the pickup location," a law enforcement advisory said. "Their car was located abandoned on the side of the road.

Very concerning. I saw this post about them:

Jillian is a minister's wife and was helping take Veronica to see her kids.
If this is true, then Veronica did not have custody of her children.

Maybe their car broke down and they hitched a ride with someone?

I think her bd lured her there, didn't expect a friend, and unalived them.

    Hope I am wrong.

I have been reading that she was in a custody dispute with the dad. I also found this interesting comment on an article:

Butler does not have custody of the children and her visitations need to be supervised due to failure to protect, they were molested by her brother.

This is my first thought. Veronica's ex needs to be looked in to and I sadly thing that Jillian just ended up being collateral damage in this.

Now this is concerning. This makes it sound like she was allowing her brother to molest them. How else could they prove that she failed to protect them? Unless the kids came to her letting her know that he was diddling them and then she did nothing about it? What a fucking mess. Those poor kids.

ETA: This was on Reddit. It's obviously not a dependable source, but this person sounds like they did a deep dive on the history of both of them before the records were pulled from public view. I'm betting on the Ex's family being involved. Those kids didn't stand a chance between the two of them, it seems.

VB had supervised visitation for very good and well-documented reasons, some of which have already been mentioned in this thread.

Wrangler Rickman, the ex, has a felonious and violent history. He has violent family members. His family likely has a reputation around town. A Rickman in the same county recently changed his last name and the reason he listed in court documents was so that he would stop getting harassed for stuff his family had done.

Wrangler conveniently was ordered to rehab one week before VB went missing. Solid alibi if he went, and right now there are no court filings or warrants to believe he violated that order.

Wrangler's mom, who had some kind of temporary custody of the kids (Wrangler apparently left them with her), recently alluded in court docs of her disapproval of Jilian Kelley as a visitation supervisor, although she didn't elaborate as to why. VB was concerned with grandma's connections in town.

Oh, and those court documents were mysteriously removed from public view today. Oklahoma has a whole process for sealing court documents that requires motions, court orders with legal support, etc. None of that happened as far as the public can see. This is completely abnormal as far as Oklahoma court records go and someone needs to look into it. And no, there's no law enforcement or emergency exception that would allow records to be suppressed as they were today.

I'm afraid my brain can't figure out what a "bd" is.

Also, the car was found abandoned on the side of the road. Would someone do a child exchange on the side of the road?

Of course, baby daddy. The brain isn't as engaged as it used to be.

just saw this posted, not saying exactly what the evidence is, but mentions evidence found in the vehicle that gives the conclusion of foul play.

Yeah, I got the impression that they knew something bad had happened based on how they reported the missing persons notice. They found something in that car that points to this not being a happy ending.

The bodies of two murdered women who earlier this year disappeared in rural Oklahoma were eventually found buried on a farming property with ties to the grandmother of one of the women's children, according to court documents. A series of search warrants, filed around the time law enforcement arrested five suspects accused in the killings and released publicly this week, detail a complex and grisly scheme allegedly devised by members of a group called "God's Misfits," seemingly to end a difficult custody battle.
