I think I actually have a post in this thread saying, move on, it's an accident, the parents are just looking for someone to blame.
But I dunno.... I'm having a particularly hard time dismissing the missing hours on the gym videotapes. Either somebody is hiding something, or the cameras coincidentally stopped recording for several hours shortly after Kendrick entered the gym, only to start recording again as normal after he was dead. Why weren't Kendrick's organs replaced in his body at the county morgue, and why did the coroner change the cause of death? The coroner's final COD was positional asphyxia, but the condition of the lungs as described in his own autopsy, don't describe positional asphyxia. Police say a bloody sneaker was "planted" at the scene, but it wasn't Kendrick's blood so they didn't collect the evidence. How would they know at the scene whose blood it was? And why would someone "plant" evidence at the scene of an accidental death? I actually suspect this WAS an accidental death, probably a fight that got out of hand. The coroner initially said the cause of death was blunt force trauma - and there are signs of blunt force trauma to Kendrick's carotid artery. I think he took a punch to the neck that killed him, and people panicked.
I see this case as another example of parents who think they are doing their children a favor by helping them avoid consequences. The Bells, the Landries, that Newark cop's stupid mother....
I also think in this situation, FBI son seemed like a bully, and FBI Dad was encouraging his son to get even because he got beat down on the bus by Kendrick. The Dad really seemed to take that personal.
