A memorial service for Ryan Nolan Renicker, 44, of Dallas, will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 2:00pm at Marvin United Methodist Church with Rev. Gerry Giles officiating.
A reception will follow in the Parlor at Marvin United Methodist Church.
Mr. Renicker passed away January 29, 2018 at his residence and immediately went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Heaven.
He was born August 31, 1973 in Shreveport, LA to Robert "Bob" Nolan Renicker and Barbara Gary Renicker.
Ryan was a member of Marvin United Methodist Church. Ryan was an Eagle Scout as he earned this honor at an almost unprecedented age of 14 years old. He graduated from Tyler Junior College with an associate degree in Natural Sciences then received his Bachelor degree in Business administration from Boston University. He maintained a GPA of 3.9 at Boston University and graduated Summa Cum Laude. He then finished his education at Columbia University where he received his Master's degree in International and Public Affairs while maintaining a 4.0 GPA. He also earned his CFA designation. Ryan worked as an Investment Analyst, Options and Derivatives Strategist for Lehman Brothers in New York. Ryan was one of the smartest people we have ever met and he was one who loved to read and study about many different topics, ultimately becoming an expert in each one.
Ryan was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Barbara Renicker as well as his grandparents Carl Alvin Renicker, Mildred Wooley Renicker, Raymond Marks Gary, Sr., and Lottie Hill Gary.
He is survived by his loving family including his two brothers Robert Gary Renicker and wife Meghan of Tyler and Reid Carlton Renicker and fiancee Rachel Owens of Frisco. He is also survived by one nephew Robby Renicker, one niece Jocelyn Renicker, as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Marvin United Methodist Church or Hospice of East Texas.
