TOWNSHIP, Ohio -- Nine people, including three children, were shot at a gender reveal party Saturday night.

One woman was killed, and another said she was pregnant but lost her baby after being shot in the leg.

The shootings happened about 11:20 p.m. at a home in the 9900 block of Capstan Drive. That’s near Colerain Avenue, just north of Northgate Mall.

No one is in custody, but "detectives have a couple of leads they're following up on," said Jim Love, Colerain police public information officer.

The children were transported to Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center; their injuries aren't considered life-threatening.

Seven others, including three children, were also shot at the party in Cincinnati, Ohio, at around 11pm on Saturday night.

Another woman died at the scene. Other relatives said her husband was shot in the head. Neither has been named by police.

Survivors later told how two gunmen burst through the front door of the house and opened fire on the group.

Hours earlier, the mother-to-be - who is called Cheyanne White - according to her social media profile - learned she was expecting a baby boy.

She thanked all of her friends and family online for helping her celebrate the special occasion before the party took a tragic turn.

If people want to have a gender reveal party, then that's no worry on my part. So people get together and talk about the baby and have blue or pink cake. So what? I hope they catch the people that did this. I read there were other kids in the house that weren't shot, so that confuses me. They also don't know if the shooters had been invited or not. It sounds like they have no idea who did this.
