I can't find any autopsy update
East Hampton Town police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 23-year-old Eastport man who was found lying on a grassy area in front of the Rough Riders Condominiums in Montauk Saturday night.
Police said in a news release Sunday that the death ?does not appear suspicious in nature? and ?no foul play is suspected.?
Shortly after 6 a.m., a passerby discovered the body of Gavin Q. Keblish in front of the condominiums on Fort Pond Road and called police.
Keblish was declared dead at the scene, police said.
Montauk resident Robert Prado, 67, said by telephone Sunday that he was the passerby who discovered the body. Police confirmed his account.
Prado, who owns the Marshall & Sons Fuel Oil Inc. gas station on Montauk Highway, said he was driving by the condominiums when he spotted the body.
?I was driving by in my truck and happened to go by and see him and checked him out,? Prado said. He said the victim was wearing tan jeans and a white shirt.
?His cellphone was under his left leg and his arms were sprawled out as if he was just sleeping,? Prado said.
Prado said the young man was lying on his back in public view. ?I can?t believe I?m the only one who saw him there,? he said.
