Slaughter High(1986) is awesomely bad. Little bit of trivia that I just found out, the actor who plays Marty killed himself a few days after the release.

What do you expect from it. It's a terrible funny b movie that is basically only good for the bragging rights that you sat through it. I think the stinky bandits guy (from home alone) is in it. I used to have it on vhs but I'm pretty sure I only watched it once and then got rid of it after it sat on the shelf for 10 years.
Yeah that's about what I expect from it besides I ended up ordering it anyways, it was only like 8 bucks. All I really know is my horror film friends are always saying I should see it like its a staple of a good horror collection.

Wow C.H.U.D. was much better than I expected. Alot of big name actors as well.
Woah that's fucking weird I literally just turned on amc and 21 is playing and the guy just said that while I was reading your post.
Just saw the lovely bones. Pretty good but kind of sad. The only thing it's really long and everytime you think the movies over there a whole other part. There's probably 3 times you think the movie is finally over but nope you're wrong. It's on Netflix BTW.

Also Before I Disappear was really. Too tired to type out any sort of review so here.
At the lowest point of his life, Richie gets a call from his estranged sister, asking him to look after his eleven-year old niece, Sophia, for a few hours.

Six years before Child’s Play, we met The Dummy.
Creepy dolls became a staple of horror cinema in the wake of Chucky’s debut on the scene, but back in the early 1980s, that fear hadn’t yet been exploited by the genre. One of the earliest killer doll flicks came in the form of student filmmaker Louis La Volpe’s 1982 short film The Dummy, which some of you ’80s kids probably have at least vague memories of.
The seven-minute short film, considered by some to be the inspiration for Child’s Play, centered on a woman trapped in her apartment with a creepy ventriloquist dummy who intended on killing her, and it was a staple of networks like HBO, Showtime, and USA throughout the ’80s. The short would often play during the commercial breaks of horror movies and also shows like “Night Flight,” “Saturday Nightmares,” and “Up All Night,” scarring the childhoods of young horror lovers who had no idea what they were in store for.

I just got done watching the girl on the train which I thought was really good. I might actually turn gay for Justin Theroux.

It was the perfect family vacation for composer John Russell and his family when a freak automobile accident claims the lives of his wife and daughter. Consumed by grief, John, at the request of friends, rents an old turn of the century house. Mammoth in size, the house seems all the room that John needs to write music and reflect. He does not realize that he is not alone in the house. He shares it with the spirit of a child who has homed in on John's despair and uses him to uncover decades of silence and deceit. With the help of Claire Norman, the one who aided John in procuring the house, they race to find the answers and soon learn that a devious and very powerful man guards them.
