    Only Enthusiastic Movie Recommendations!

All the negativity in that other movie thread makes my head hurt. If it sucks (in your opinion) don't mention it.

Only recommendations here. Everyone stays happy. If there's something you liked, and you wanna tell people about it, do it here!

    What's really good?

    Saw Ant-Man. Good stuff.

Anything else that was good, and I should check out? Hopefully this one won't die. People like talking about things they like, right??

Tonight, I'm going to see a special showing of Mission Impossible Rogue Nation. I'm happy and enthusiastic about that.

That's a good look! Did you see the rest of them? I only saw the first one, so I'd probably be lost at this point. Might check out "Spy" tonight. If I can't find Trainwreck anywhere.

I've seen all of the Mission Impossible movies starring Tom Cruise. In my opinion, you'd be fine watching any of them without having seen the others. Same main characters, lots of crazy action scenes, just different "missions."

I haven't seen Spy or Trainwreck yet, but want to see both. I love both of those funny ladies.

I have to see Amy Schumer live before I die. I fucking love her. I guess I'm gonna have to pony up to see Trainwreck, cause I can't find it online anywhere.

OK, if they can standalone, then maybe I'll check the new one out.

Where are you living? My friend sent me a link for movie screenings (before the opening day) but it's only in major cities. I went to see things with her before but it was years ago (Star Trek).

I'm in West Virginia. The movie is supposed to be released tomorrow everywhere, but for some reason, this rinky dink place is doing the "Special Showing" tonight. (http://www.tvcinemas8.com/) I'm not complaining.

I haven't found Trainwreck online anywhere. Maybe in a couple of days, but it'll probably be a shitty cam version.

I'll probably go to a theater and watch it, though. Only $6.50 during matinee hours.

    Did you watch, "Unfriended?"

Edited: It's only $4.50 during matinee hours and family night on Tuesdays. $6.50 is regular price.

Never heard of it. Off to Google!

Yea, it's nowhere. Her people (or Judd's) are working overtime. That shit isn't anywhere. It's like looking for Prince on YouTube. Gonna check it out on Sunday solo.

Its about a dude who wants to break up with his super controlling girlfriend, but she gets hit by a car before hes able to. She dies with him promising her to love her forever. Hijinks ensue

Well the beginning is relatable. Coincidentally, I love hijinks.

Trainwreck is great...very funny!!! Amy Schumer is hilarious. Also saw Vacation...it was pretty good. A little goofy, but has some funny parts.

I want to check that movie out. It sort of seems similar to, "Life After Beth." Have you seen that one?

Yea, I've heard nothing but positive about Trainwreck.

I thought the preview of "Vacation" looked cool. I like Helms a lot. Speaking of which, I'm gonna recommend Cedar Rapids. It's a decent little Indy flick. Not much going on, but the characters are great. John C. Reilly steals the show.

Uh oh. I checked it out and it has like 3.5 stars out of 10.
I may have talked myself into a corner here, but rules are rules.

Ha! I don't pay attention to ratings. If it interests me within the first 20 minutes, then I'm happy.
I can't even name a movie right now, off the top of my head, that I totally hated. I have never walked out of a movie theater. I have stopped watching a show if I lose interest, but I usually try to revisit it at a later time and try again. I tried watching The Walking Dead when it first came on TV, but lost interest. Tried again when the 2nd season came on TV and liked it and caught up.

I haven't seen Cedar Rapids, but will take you up on that recommendation.

    You're in the right place.

I mean, it may just be me you and Jessie, but we're happy here.

So is this only movies currently in theaters or anything recent to dvd/bluray? Because I honestly don't get to the movies too much - only recently to beat the heat

    Anything!

No AC? My condolences. Holy shit. No one should have to live that way.

I'm here. I like most movies. I'm probably too dumb to be cinematically critical.

It Follows! Seriously! Watch it. So good.

Sorry, I'm committed to the regular movie thread because I hate being told to be positive or enthusiastic about anything.

That was really cool. The stunt guys from "The Matrix" put it together. And it actually made me feel something over a dog. That's big.

Back from seeing, Mission Impossible Rogue Nation. Loved it! Total action movie. Stunts were awesome. No kissing/romance scenes.

Is the movie, It Follows, out on dvd yet? I couldn't find it online.
