I'm a massive space nerd. Was curious if anyone else here was?

lol no, no. I mean, I like those things, and I have a Doctor Who Tattoo, but I meant like a nerd about actual space. Black holes, galaxies, that kind of stuff.
Both hubby and I grew up wanting to be astronauts. He got as close as being an airline pilot, my vision sucked so I gave up on the dream and became an accountant. LOL. We hunt quasars online...we get notifications when the space station is visible in our area, we could probably give the tours at NASA, we still run out and watch every launch that is visible in our area. We are uber space nerds!
For those who live in Florida, there is an Atlas V launch scheduled for tonight. The weather looks good and the launch window is from 10:44pm-11:14pm. For everyone else that is interested you can watch it here: http://spaceflightnow.com/2015/03/12...status-center/
Should be an awesome site because it's such a large rocket and it's going off so late at night so there will be less light pollution to contend with.
Yep Star Wars, Star Trek, battle star galactica , and a host of others. I would even watch csi: outer space if it came on..
I like astronomy alot. I wanted to be an astronomer for the longest time. In fact, part of me still does. I really like pulsars, magnetars, and quasars/blazars. I could talk for hours about space but I never get to because alot of people aren't as enthustic about the topic as I am.
Oh, I also like sci-fi spacey stuff too. I like Star Wars, Doctor Who, Torchwood, etc.

A full moon, lunar eclipse and comet all in one night? Here’s how to watch it Friday
I believe the earth is flat with a dome. I can prove it through science and logical reason. Where should I start ?
I love anything space related. The title of this thread annoys me though
I'm a massive space nerd. I'm actually currently wearing a NASA shirt
One of my favorite things to do is get stoned as hell, set my massage chair to zero gravity, and then wear my VR headset and watch videos of space. I feel like an astronaut.
I never try anything, I just do it. Wanna try me?
I was excited about the launch today, but based on the fact that I am within watching distance from my yard, and it is thundering like mad, I am thinking it won't happen.
