Yeah, Twitter often lights up with harsh remarks for the jumpers whenever this happens, or even if someone falls or is hit by accident. There has been pushings but the most recent one that I recall goes back to 2009. The news only covers certain cases or only discusses the delay in order to discourage copycats. For these recent ones I guess it was because there were so many in so little time. Suicides on the subway in Toronto are often only in the news for these reasons:

- They can't identify the victim.
- The victim's purse was stolen.

- Train drivers reached out to the media to talk about their psychological trauma.

- The victim was already in the news for "invitation to sexual touching and luring" underage boys. http://www.thestar.com/opinion/2009/...o_the_end.html
- It was a murder-suicide. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/mother...uries-1.236385
