The whole camera thing doesn't make sense anyway. She didn't know the picture of her dragging Travis was even there.If she did, she would have taken the camera or at least the memory card. I believe it got accidentally scooped up and in the washer. Why did she testify about deleting some pics, yet later testified she knew deleting didn't mean anything because as a camera buff, she knew pics could be retrieved with sophisticated equipment. So, she listened to the camera specialist and learned it then.

If she actually looked at the photos (the ones after the attack started) prior to deleting them, I doubt she would have realized what they were. She would have been viewing them on the camera and probably didn't realize the details they revealed. On the camera screen they probably didn't look like much, especially if she's rushing through it to get the hell out of there. She thought deleting them and throwing the camera in the washer would be good enough to destroy the memory card. It is ironic that this mistake made by an "aspiring photographer" was a big part in her downfall.

All she had to do was take the card. Her chances of "selling" her story of self defense without the times stamps on those pictures would have improved greatly. No time stamps, no time limit. Her biggest problem is the story she's telling could not have happened in the time frame it is known to have happened. She just didn't have the time to run around like she claims. Both weapons were in the bathroom when the attack started.

I would like to hear more from her about the description of the rope. She said it as soft, like a decorative rope. 20 feet of decorative rope would get mighty tangled of it were not on a spool.

Yep. And it would be damn expensive too. At least $6.00 a yard, possibly more depending on the thickness and where you purchased it. So just the portion Stabby says they "cut" to use for bondage would have cost over $40 (plus the cost of whatever portion they did not use). So let's say they only cut a little away, and say that at a minimum they had $50 worth of decorative rope.

Really?? Travis bought $50 worth of decorative rope just in case Stabby came by again some day and was in the mood to be tied up? He walked into a fabric store and shopped for it and picked it out? And paid cash, to make sure it did not show up on his credit card receipts or bank statements after he died?

Or budget conscious Stabby spent $50 on decorative rope? Where is the receipt? (she has them for everything else)

And it would not take 20 feet of rope to tie someone to that bed, even if you did go all the way behind the headboard. Not even close to 20 feet. Half that amount would be more than enough to do the job.

I think the reason Stabby is saying the rope is 20 feet long is because she needed an explanation as to WHY the knife ended up in the bathroom. The best she could come up with was "we were doing bondage and we had to cut the rope, and to do that, Travis had to back up aaaaaaall the way into the bathroom to get enough rope! And then he cut it with a biiiiiiig knife! And he left that knife in the bathroom! Wow, what a coincidence!"

That has changed dramatically as Jodi’s trial has gone along. I absolutely despise Juan Martinez. The biggest problem here is the grandparents stolen gun. Jodi has been proven to have lied so much, the jury will automatically assume she stole the gun and used it in this crime.

The defense absolutely has to do more with this issue,but they can’t.The gun has to be recovered and proven not to have been used for Jodi to get a self defense verdict.

Listening to the accusatory and generally disbelieving nature of the jury questions,I feel self defense will be ruled out by the jury.

Not going to happen Steve-O, Stabby can't produce the gun because that's a one way ticket to death row. Glad to see you are starting to get that self-defense is a no go. Might be hope for you yet!

I’m happy there is a day off for Nurmi. He looked sick to me all week. His eyes were puffy and he just acted off. He didn’t sit by Jodi at all. But I did see his face turn beat red and he more or less throw his pad at the table at one point. Did anyone notice that towards the end of the day he started to stand between JM and JW….at sidebars.

In one of new the new portions just released Stabby was crying her cold dead heart out and Flores asks her if it's finally dawning on her and Stabby says basically "No,I'm crying because of everything I'm going to miss out on"

I'd love to see the whole four hours and the order in which all of these things happen/are said.

That has always been my belief........This was concocted to explain why a knife was handy for her to grab, and also explain why there were fibers found in and around the master bathroom. To both hold the rope.....her in the bedroom and him, going all the way into the bathroom to stretch it out is absurd. To use a rope that long, for what SHE says they were doing, is absurd. Jodi....is absurd. All nonsense!

I agree with the build up of adrenaline. That's a good point. She was probably getting excited thinking about it and her heart rate increased over a period of time. I think the adrenaline probably fluctuated leading up to the killing.

I don't agree with the bold statement. A build up of adrenaline is not necessary to be able to have the ability to do what she did. It's that sudden push of adrenaline that gives a person the extraordinary strength, the 'flight or fight' strength. I think when Travis started fighting back is when she dropped a crap ton of adrenaline.

Often times, even after the 'event' is over, there is still residual 'high' from it.


Sometimes when my pager goes off, I jump up, start shaking, lose my breath, feel dizzy, my voice is shaky. Sometimes it goes off and I am slow to go. Cool and calm. I'm not sure why sometimes it gets me and other times it doesn't.

Sometimes when I get home from a call, I am still pumped up. The call could have been 3-5 hours or longer, but I still have the rush when it's all said and done.

Just examples, from my own experience, of adrenaline at work.

I barely missed an accident with a semi on the interstate once and ended up off the road. When I attempted to get back on the interstate I found I could not drive because when I put my foot on the brake, my foot was wildly jumping all around sort of like a tremor. I couldn't control it for a good 5 minutes.

In the knife block in the kitchen was a heavy utility scissor, why wouldn't he have used that? Why take a big knife and risk cutting himself when he has the scissors? The whole story is nonsense.

The rope you can buy at sex shops is soft, it is meant to feel nice-ish against the skin, it is not uncommon for it to come loosely in a plastic container. I suppose one could wrap it around the packaging to keep it straight, but if you are stretching it out, wrapping it around the head board, what ever, it is not going to tangle to easily.

I agree. Walking the rope down the hall to determine how much you need is nonsensical. It would just be a blind guess. Cutting the rope by the headboard, you could actually run it behind the headboard, then estimate how much you needed on each side to tie the wrists, then cut it.

However, Stabby did not tell the story that way because that would not put the knife in the bathroom, which she needed to make her "self defense/amnesia/battered woman" story work with the time stamps on the pictures.

I don't get why it's not considered very premeditated to Dr boss hog because the crime scene was unorganized. It seemed pretty unorganized for someone who wasn't a professional killer or 'cleaner'. She did her best to show she was NOT there and tried to dispose of evidence of such. The murder got out of control an she had to get out of there. It seemed organized because of the steps she took to not show she was there! Just because the scene was a mess and not immaculate doesnt make it unpremeditated. The murderer's actions before and after demonstrate a conscientious effort to evade detection of her presence in Arizona.
Also, I don't believe she went over the dam route. It's waaaay out of the way and she could get up to SLC straight through flagstaff and into Utah that way... But she must have if her cell pinged near Kingman... Someone mentioned the evidence is probably in lake mead; I think that's correct because why go so far off track to go into Utah that direction as opposed to an easier route through flagstaff up the 89...

Would taking 93 really take her that much out of her way? 89 looks likes it meanders around. Don't forget she didn't want anyone to know she was in Mesa.

Okay....okay. I just looked up some of the interrogation tapes on Youtube. I was watching the part where Jodi is in the orange jumpsuit, and Det. Flores is questioning her about the cuts on her hands. She is hold out both hands, turning them....splaying her fingers. Pointing out all of the "cat scratches", even having Flores feel her finger with the cut on it. Am I blind, or do ALL of her fingers appear as straight as can be? I don't see any signs of her "bent" finger?? How the heck can THAT be??
