Only 27, and just outa nowhere? Damn. I didn't know him and I'm relatively new here, but that is just heartbreakingly sad, taken in the prime of life like that.

This still weirds me out. Great pics, PCP...he looks taller than I'd imagined, though
I still can't believe Blake died. I just don't want to believe it.
Blake was an original MDS-er. :< Brings back memories of the good times.
I remember seeing those pictures like it was yesterday...
It is awesome to see people come back here to pay respects.
People think you cant have real emotions towards people youve never met, but this shows otherwise.
I wasn't super close to Blake. He was old school and a fixture. Someone I liked to go back and forth with.
I know that's true for a lot of us and some were close to him.
What a reality check to what online people can mean.
Rest in peace, Mr. F. :(
That's so sad :(
R.I.P Blake
If it hadn't been for Cotton-Eye Joe
I'd been married long time ago
While under not the best circumstances, it's nice to see some old school MDS people in this thread.
I forgot how much he was on Stickam, I miss those days. :(
When I think of friendships that I have developed with you guys on here, I'm reminded of an episode of "What About Earl" that I always thought was really touching. Earl had to set up a memorial for a guy who passed away. Couldn't find any IRL friends, but ended up finding out the guy had a huge amount of friends online, who showed up for an "e-memorial." It was really nice, while I'm not a fan of the show, that episode I so happened to catch and it stuck with me. Sometimes the best friends you can make are ones you meet online.
Now of course, Blake had friends "IRL" but it just goes to show what a great person he was with the outpouring of emotion on the forum here as well as the other forums that he frequented. Technology is neat like that, you can meet some really awesome people that you would never have been able to otherwise not even 15 years ago or so. I'd much rather hang out with you guys on here online and in real life, than a lot of the people I was friends with prior to coming to this place.
It's early and I don't mean to get all emotional and mushy, but I really care about you assholes. <3

I haven't posted in forever. Just wanted to say, rest in peace Blake, my condolences to his family and friends. Way to young to die.
Message from Blake only a week before his death.

Holy shit, that website he found. Dafuq?
Jeez, Ron. That made me tear up.
I have seen the future and I'm fairly relieved to say, it looks nothing like me.
RIP Blake. Mike told me about this a while back but haven't had time to reply. He was a good kid and I met him a few times in person. The funeral was near my old place in Dallas. I did bitch out on that Curtain Club show though cuz I hated that bar. Hope all of you are well.
