I wonder if they looked for any crop circles.
I still cannot believe they haven't found this family. :(
The next person that posts in here without some updated information is getting smited. SMITED I SAY!
Wow this is sad. I read some of the most recent posts and for those of you who aren't from Oklahoma or don't know much about it i will help you understand. I am from western Oklahoma. Clear across the state from where this happened. Oklahoma not only has unpredictable weather but it also has various types of terrain. In western Oklahoma there is alot of farming land which tends to be hilly or flat or even numerous areas of bottom land which is land located Down around a river source. In western Oklahoma we also know about southeastern Oklahoma. Oklahoma in general is a large manufacture of meth. Anhydrous tanks line co-ops and fields because of it's use on farms- it is also a main ingredient used to cook meth I do believe- don't quote me
because I'm not a meth expert but from what I hear there r several different kinds of meth that can b
made and I'm not sure if they use the same ingredients. Any way on with what I am getting at. In southeastern Oklahoma the terrain is very rocky n canopied with trees. When my dads rig was down there and I went to visit he told me if I got lost immediately turn around and get on a main road and go to
a public location to ask for directions. The reason for this is because gps signal is hard to get in areas like this and mainy backroads aren't even listed on the gps maps. Also because many meth cookers cook right off backroads or on their own land or random land and if you drive up on even a meth lab that is in a vehicle parked on a backroad, ur probably gonna die. There's a story about a Oklahoma highway patrol man that stummbled upon a car lab and was shot to death. Also carrying around that much cash around here isn't something you worry about. Most people carry some kind of riffle or pistol in their vehicle at all times. October around here is normally chilly but around there they are known for humidity and warmer weather also alot of rainfall. The dog being left is weird. And I wonder if the money was hidden or in plain sight?
Excellent first post.
I think about this family almost every day. What really gets me and pisses me off is the lack of any real news coverage.
Nancy Grace just covered the story of the California family that vanished. Their care was found by the Mexico border.
I haven't heard this story on the news once.
I wish that this one would get covered.
[move]this is really strange how can a whole family just qo missinq like dhat ?
[/move]
No new updates? Really? It's been 6 months. It seems weird that there's NO news on this whatsoever. I googled quite a bit, and came up with nothing. :/

the latest article i could find...and that alone took some digging:
http://www.newsok.com/article/344175...m_click=searchLocating Eufaula family remains priority for officials
BY SHEILA STOGSDILL
Published: February 24, 2010
RED OAK — Latimer County authorities continue to search for a family that was last seen more than four months ago.
Bobby and Sherrilynn Jamison and their 6-year-old daughter, Madyson, all of Eufaula, were last seen on Oct. 9. Their locked pickup was found near Red Oak on Oct. 17 with the family’s dog inside along with a cell phone, clothing, cash and other items. Their cell phone had last been used on Oct. 8.
Sheriff Israel Beauchamp said authorities are still looking for clues to the disappearance.
"We have a (search) team out of Michigan going to come down in the spring,” Beauchamp said.
Beauchamp said there hasn’t been an active search for the family since December. The sheriff’s office receives reports of two or three sightings a month, but all have turned out to be false, he said.
The pickup was found about 30 miles from the family’s home. Beauchamp said in October the family had gone to look at a couple of 40-acre plots of mountain land for possible purchase.
More than 100 people helped search for the family in rugged terrain for several weeks.
Anyone with information on the case can call the Latimer County Sheriff’s Department at (918) 465-2161.

Yeah, me too. He had a restraining order against his father shortly before all this happened.

Supposedly he was in a nursing home for a couple months prior to his death. I found that on websleuths, so take it for what you will.
And also, "In May, Bobby Dale Jamison filed a civil suit against his parents Bobby Dean and Scarlet Jean Jamison for more than $10,000 for the loss of money to which he said he was entitled when his father sold the family gas station. Bobby Jamison took out a protective order against his father in May, but authorities said it has been dismissed and appears unrelated to the disappearance of the younger Jamison and his family.
In the suit, the missing Jamison alleges his father enticed him to work for free at the Oklahoma City gas station, but with the understanding that one day, the son would have a half-interest in the station when he was older."

They've been missing a lot longer than the Cali family. It says they haven't done any searches for this family since December. It would be totally different authorities working on each case so I don't think one would hinder the other. I wouldn't know about either of them if I didn't read here.
