Anyone who says onions make you cry has clearly never been hit in the face with a turnip.
What is that?

It's a barbecue. :2smiley:
We also have a huge beer barrel that OH has been promising to make into a bbq for me. Lazy men.

But what does it do? It's made that way to do something special, right? I'm confused

It bbqs food.
It's a tripod bbq and it all comes apart for easy transportation. I just like the style of it cause it's not like a regular bbq. Plus the grill plate can be lowered or put higher, the chain adjusts it.

I get it now.
I have some pictures I just took that I was going to stick in the home decorating thread that will go perfectly here. Great thread!
My new hibiscus. It's so gorgeous.
A close up.
I don't know what this is, but it's blooming and I love it.
A close up.
This thing smells like heaven.
Me: OMG OMG Denny, Denny look at this, it's blooming, it's gorgeous.
Denny: Umhuhm
Me: And it smells like heaven!
Denny: How do you know what heaven smells like?

Yeah, it's a crappy picture. The leaves on the bush are purple. I googled gardenia and I don't think that's it. They smell terrifical. How are you, old man?
those are so pretty, is the pink tree a cherry bloosum i'll look it up. hmmm

That's a possibility. The trees themselves are so old and gnarled looking and twisted and short. But the flowers look and smell great.

I still think it's a Dogwood

You can't see them very well, but I think the flowers look like these
That's a cherry blossom. I'm voting for that. For now.

[/quote]I am well, thank you for asking. The only other bush I can think of is the Oleander. That is awesome that you can grow hibiscus in your area. I thought they were only indigenous to tropical climates. In Key West we had an array of colors and what is called doubles & triples (extra rows of petals). With the right soil they are low maintenance. Unfortunately here in Miami, my yard is mostly fill that consists of screening sand. Can't get any thing to grow without having in to invest in topsoil. Last time I only did the front yard 60' x 30' to the tune $2,900 just for topsoil.
the only thing that will make us be certain of what it is, is finding a photo that has the maroon leaves on the tree as well.

I have to leave my hibiscus in its pot so I can bring it in when it gets cold. Otherwise it will die. I was thinking I just saw something about a hibiscus tree though that can survive to zone 5 (that's me).
Check this out. It's called 'pond scum.'
What an awesome name for a flower color. :|

I would also vote cherry blossom too. Dogwoods grow straighter up and cherry blooms are curving and bending like that. And I'd rule out gardenia cause they are more bush -like than those pics. But that's just my experience/opionion. And there is no show to give me a botany degree.
And on the to-do list. I am thinking after painting we're just gonna hang. We can can just sit on the back porch and shoot the guns and then drive ourselves around. Come back to the trailer and watch TV, stomp around, and jam Johnny Cash without have to worry about other people saying we are being too loud. Oh, I almost forgot, make nooses in case we see one of them colored folks. :|
Too much?
