I hate it because it shows me people that I am already friends with...
But I like it because I have added peeps from that list...

Apparently, I "may know" a lottttt of porn stars on myspace. Yum.
You're like a hurricane to me: your violence is beautiful, your centre, so sweet.
At least you guys actually KNOW who your people you may know are. The majority of the time I've never even seen these people before. Half the time they don't even live in my state. Why would I know them?
at least people pop up on yalls, I don't get any.

haha i hate that!! i think 90% of the people that show up have no business being on my page! NONE! As much as i think the application sucks..i must admit my boyfriend's ex pops up a lot and after i curse at her stupid face, i do a little dance knowing that i'm probably showing up on hers

well sometimes I get people I HATE in this town and I don't want to see their ugly face, but Tom says I must. damn him.
and sometimes I get some random person and I was like oooo I must click on them to see if they are exciting and then it ends up being some loser I hate
[/quote]
I'm goin' through the same issues...
I always get my ex poppin' up on that F-ing thing, him and a few whores from my home town that I freakin' hate...
I do not dig on "the people you may know" app.

Just to let you guys know, any "new" feature on myspace has been on facebook forever. Including the "people you may know thing." So I've hated that for the last two years its been on facebook. Myspace is constantly coming out with new features that are replicas of facebook's...I don't know why it wants to be so similar, they are very different websites appealing to very different people, IMO.

Hahahaha! Really? Myspace is such a social website biter! I've never even taken a peek at facebook, but I know myspace ate up friendster and tribe.net like it was cool. I'm not complainin' though...that silly website changed my life. :2kiss:

My defunct profile shows up on my list all the time. :|
I also get OTDS and Allie shows up even though she hasn't logged onto her myspace profile in almost a year.

Yeah, myspace used to be pretty lacking in features but the status updates, friend updates, photo tagging, were all at facebook a long time ago and then myspace bit them. there is also some feature on myspace now I believe that lets you view "comment to comment" where you can see the comments between only two people...yeah thats always been on facebook except it was wall-to-wall. Birthday updates were on facebook first. Yeah, tsk tsk tsk. Applications as well were on facebook long ago.
I mean, really the only thing that really differenciates the two is that myspace has all the fancy shamancy editing stuff, changing colors, background pictures, adding music etc. Don't get me wrong, that website was great when I was 14 and wanted to blurt my entire life out on that website with 500 videos and 12 songs and pictures galore or all my favorite celebrities allllll over my page, but being somebody who simply wants to connect with people I like facebook much better. Its much more simpler, no colors and videos and music and 500 pictures to slow down my computer, I liiike.
I also feel like myspace has become a place for middle schoolers to lie about their age and use myspace to argue be ridiculous and TyPe LyKe DiS! and Make screen names like ~*SExxxI GiRLLLLLL*~. Facebook would never stand for that. You pretty much have to use an ACTUAL name, like, your name. Its great.
mhmm my ex and his new girlfriends profile always seem to pop up. Such as a lovely feeling, i don't sign into myspace as much anymore, sick of being bitter and angry after every time i sign in. Sigh. Fair sure once you break up with someone they shouldn't exist anymore. Anywhere.
I hate it. I get people I don't like or people I've never seen before. Lots of the people I've never seen before are from my high school and type LyYyke Di$$$$$$.
hate it.
the funny thing about it is there was never anybody in it that I actually knew.

He goes by "Darth Vermin"
Term used to describe anyone with enough time or narcissism to document every tedious bit of minutia filling their uneventful lives. Possibly the most annoying thing about bloggers is the sense of self-importance they get after even the most modest of publicity. Sometimes it takes as little as a referral on a more popular blogger's website to set the lesser blogger's ego into orbit.

Yeah this feature's dumb. On my list of folks to know, I happen to know juuust about everybody. And there's a reason we're not friends. Thankyouverymuch.
Oh, and Facebook rules (sorta, at least compared to myspace). I only updated my myspace so its in order in case I die, lol.
