Gross. They fucking suck balls. Dirty sweaty uneven balls.
The Klaxons are amazing. I think they are a great band with one album out and tremendous potential.

Stop trying to turn me into a hipster I'm not YOU!
and the killers. I only like the 1st album I can't help it. with silly words like
somebody told me
You had a boyfriend
Who looked like a girlfriend
That I had in February of last year
It's not confidential
I've got potential "
I tried to hate them, but I couldn't help singing along. don't worry I didn't buy the ablum. ;)

AHHA that guy is heinous looking, Downey is way hotter. But I think the Kills are awesome. I listen to that song like eighty three million times a day, it's sick, I'm going to ruin it for myself.
I am a Brit whore, though. I'm peeing myself with joy that Blur is going to tour!!!!!! DAAAMON!!! They are one of my favorite bands of all time. If Pulp gets back together, I will die happy.

Now we are getting somewhere bowie! Those are two of my favorite bands. Parklife and A different Class are always playing in my car. I love the odd stares I get when I play T.H.I.S.F.E.E.L.I.N.G.C.A.L.L.E.D.L.O.V.E. They look at me like I'M crazy.
And Damon Albarn is one of the most talented musicians ever. I hate people that think Oasis won that grudge. Ugh. What did you think of The Good, The Bad & The Queen?

I'm not huge on the Good The Bad and The Queen. I thought they were kind of boring. Jarvis Cocker's solo album is great enough so that even if Pulp doesn't reunite, I'm sated.
Goodbooks are a good new British band.

I enjoyed the Good the Bad and the Queen wore than I enjoy Gorillaz though. What is his other new side project called? And I did not know they were touring again. Any dates yet?
I'll be googling good books in a few. What did you think of the Arctic Monkeys fiasco? I liked the 1st album but only 2 or 3 songs off the follow up. Their hype seemed to die pretty quick

I never liked the Arctic Monkeys. I do like the Last Shadow Puppets, though, which are a side project.
As for a Blur reunion:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/hi/music/newsid_7710000/7710537.stm
Other new British acts I recommend:
Los Campesinos
The Black Ghosts
Black Box Recorder (not new but no one knows who they are)
Blood Red Shoes
Blood On The Wall
Cajun Dance Party
Does It Offend you Yeah
Glasvegas
What's with all these bands getting back together? I'm not a fan of the Verve but them, The Happy Mondays, Portishead, now Blur.
I know of Cajun dance party. I'll check up on the others. Do you care for MGMT? I just got into them a Couple months ago
Bowie, let me know how that Oasis concert at the Staples Center goes. Great venue. :2wave:

Oh, yeah, I like MGMT a lot. They're the American Klaxons. The Verve never technically broke up. They had to take time off to pic up the pieces after the Rolling Stones won that asinine lawsuit against them and took all their money. They still have to pay $10,000 every time they play Bittersweet Sympathy live.
With Blur, the main reason they 'broke up', which, they more faded away, was because Graham Coxon and Damon Albarn's egos were clashing. So if Coxon says he's willing to work it out, that's a good sign.

I heard Tara stopped coming to MDS because she is so excited about that concert. Don't let her down. That would be fucked up.

Yeah I know it's about the money. It just seems like there has been a few more lately. Coxon and albarns egos clash, but no more than the Gallaghers and they seem to stick around. Btw oasis has not impressed me in almost 12 or 13 years now.
Didn't richard ashcroft play bittersweet at live 8 or Live aid 2 or whatever it was called?
I forgot a bout Gang of Four. I'll have to dig them up in my album collection soon.

He plays the song, then writes a check.
I think the Gallagher 'conflict' is 97% fake and a part of the band image.
There's always tons of bands reforming. Half of the first concerts I went to were reunions: Siouxsie and The Banshees, Madness, Devo, etc.

Yeah it was cool in '95 but just annoying today. I'm not a fan of rollingstone, but I do have britains Q and Mojo Magazines delivered to my house. I swear like every damn third month Oasis is on the cover with the tagline "They're back and bigger than ever" or some shit. I don't get it, IMO they had two extraordinary classic albums and a bunch of *meh* ones after that. I do not think together they have as much talent as Radiohead or damon albarn have in a nutsack. But they are awesome shit talkers so that of course is a +1 for them
I'm jealous you got to see Siouxsie. I used to have a crush on her. The last reunited band I saw was that new version of Alice in chains. I left after the second song
Don't be jealous of Siouxsie and The Banshees. They're one of my favorite bands but it was one of the worst shows I've ever been to. It sounded like everyone in the band was playing a different song.
The Pogues were far and away the best reunion I went to, although I was so sad McGowen left the stage during Thousands Are Sailing, which is my favorite song. NO idea what the story is behind that.
I'm not a big Radiohead fan. I actually think they're one of the most overrated bands around. The Bends is great and OK Computer has its moments but I loathed Kid A and the next album, and the last two have been totally forgettable.
I actually think Muse is an amazing band, because I've seen them live and I can't believe three guys can get such a good wall of sound.

Well I don't know if its comforting knowing not to be jealous :| That sucks that they were no good. She is one of my favorite female performers. I got into the the cure through learning he was their guitarist for a while.
The pogues definitely sounds like it would have been a good show. especially if shane macgowan is coherent  How big was the venue? The pogues are always one of those bands I would much rather see in a dive bar with less than 100 people in attendance?
As for radiohead, well I just love them even when they falter. The Bends(By far the better of the two) and O.K Computer are classics, to me anyways. I loved Kid And amnesiac is no big deal. Hail to the thief is where they lost me but I really enjoyed In Rainbows.
Muse I never really paid much attention to, but then again I can't think of any songs I know. I check them out next time I'm down town
My current favorites are TV on the radio and Arcade Fire. I didn't think TVOTR could top return to cookie mountain But they went in a different direction with Dear science and it works for me. I really want to see them live
