Six people were shot, two of them fatally, during a gathering early Sunday morning, according to Detroit police.
The shooting occurred at about 2:16 a.m. in the area of San Juan and McNichols, in northwest Detroit.
Two men, ages 21 and 24, were killed when shots were fired by an unknown gunman, or gunmen, police said.
Two other men and two women, ranging from 20 to 30 years old, were also shot. They were treated at a local hospital for non-fatal injuries.

It was among five shooting incidents reported early Sunday in Detroit. An unidentified man, between 25 and 30 years old, was found shot to death about 1:37 a.m. in the 9700 block of Broadstreet, police said. The other shootings were non-fatal.
