Robeson County deputy's teen daughter remains missing, search continues

FAIRMONT, NC (WBTW) - The teenage daughter of a Robeson County Sheriff's Deputy remains missing after she failed to show up for work Wednesday morning and the car she was driving was later found abandoned in a field, Robeson County Sheriff officials said.

Sara Nicole Graham, age 18, of Fairmont left home from the 4000 block of Centerville Church Road to drive to work at the Walmart in Pembroke Wednesday morning at 6:30 am, said Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealey.

However, Graham did not show up for work, which she should have by 7 am.

Around 12:15 pm, deputies received a phone call about a suspicious vehicle, Sealey said.

Deputies responded and found a car, the tag information was checked and it came back as her family's vehicle -- the car Graham had used to leave for work.

The car was found empty, parked in a wheat field on the edge of a forest along East McDonald Road between Chicken Road and Centerville Church Road, Sealey said.

A large search was conducted with dozens of Robeson County deputies, a NC Highway Patrol helicopter and Bladen County Deputies, according to Sealey.

However, there was no sign of Graham and her family has not had contact with her.

Sara's father Hubert, is a 16 year veterans of the sheriff's department.

Sheriff Kenneth Sealey asks that anyone with information about Graham's disappearance to call 910-671-3170, which is the Robeson County Sheriff's Office.
