Oh, can you do that now?

There's nothing like being around a bitching and moaning kid that isn't yours! No price is too much for a few hours of that.

What's worst is teenagers that walk in , in the middle of a movie cos they're sneeking in.

I hate people all of them.

There's only one. I meant like that type of movie.

This is why I swoon for you.... oh wait it's cause you are pure evil. Never mind.

I never go to movies so I'm shocked to learn that people take babies and toddlers to movies other than kiddie movies and especially late at night. I wouldn't think that would be enjoyable even for the parent. I remember taking my firstborn to a drive in movie once and it was hell. She wouldn't sit still, fussed and carried on the whole time. Meanwhile her asshole father, who had an incredible talent for totally shutting out the kids when he was watching TV (or in this case a movie) paid no attention and did nothing to help with her the whole time. Why would anyone pay money to deal with that crap in a theater?

Man, we paid like $30 with tickets and popcorn. We saw Iron Man just started and said fuck it. :-D

And teenagers are bad too.
The reason I hate babies whining more is cause the stupid, obnoxious parents could have kept them home in the first place, and there's no reasoning with those people.

That just makes me hate the parents.

Seriously out of control kids almost always have that rude, entitled parent. that are just as annoying as their screaming spawn. They some how find brattiness adorable.

"aww look how cute Damien is. I love how he makes a fist, it goes perfectly in Bob's eye. Sooo cute. and his scream is soo musical, it's like he is saying "mommy i love you and damn the world". So cute!! Wanna see 817 pictures? no? oh silly you want to see MY damien"

what an idiot. Yeah, there was a baby in my theater...but it cried a bit before the previews and was quiet the rest of the time. The same can not be said for the non-verbal very obviously retarded man who was three rows behind us...until we moved clear across the theater. We could still hear him though. rawr.

When my daughter was an infant, I took her twice to the theater and she just slept the whole time. Had she woke up I and acted up I would have taken her out of the theater. Honestly, I don't have much other option most of the time and that is why the last movie I saw was a yr ago (HP OOTP) during a matinee and I put her in daycare. The thing I think non-parents don't understand is that when kids flip out in public I can GUARANTEE the parent is far more upset than other people are.

1. Their child is upset, and that sucks.
2. It's ruining their rare chance to get out of the house.
3. They know they are being judged by everyone else in the establishment, be it a movie theater, restaurant, or a freaking mall.

sometimes....

really though if your child is acting up in a situation like this.. the parent should remove the child.
if a child can sit quietly through a movie , no one will even notice it there.

if only we could remove adults when they're behaving like babies.

That's not my problem. I cannot feel sorry for someone's choice to procreate. Thats part of being a parent. You chose ( or didn't but you chose to have sex and keep the kid) to have that child.
Parents who remove a screaming kid aren't judged so much.
and Babysitters ( trusted ones) are good. ( or daycare)

I guess I can only go on my own experience and anytime my daughter has flipped in public I have been mortified. One time we were in Applebees and she totally flipped. She was only like a yr old and I just remember I felt like crying.... I just wanted to eat my fucking appetizer sampler!

oh I remember the feeling. It has been a while since I had a little cranky baby on my hands. I remember though.. I'd just pick him up and take him outside , shake him a little and then he'd stop.
