I think they have a pretty solid circumstantial case...sadly cause of death couldn't be determined and that would have helped more than anything. Motive, Means, and Opportunity is what I think they are going for.

IDK. I'm just really catching up on everything now cause I've been in florida for the past week. But HLN is pulling opinions from facebook and twitter and it's completely half and half for the prosecution versus the defense. They're kinda shocked by it, it seems.
If you look at motive, means, and opportunity...motive- what motive is there really? That she was annoyed by Cindy? Most of us have been annoyed by people involved in our kids' lives and we've managed to not kill them. Again, with opportunity...what was any different about that day versus a month before? Two months later?
I really wouldn't be surprised if she was acquitted for murder one.

Am I missing something? I just watched over an hour of the defense going on and on about the absence of blood evidence. The prosecution is saying chloroform/suffocation and the defense is saying accidental drowning, I get that. But neither of those CODs would necessarily result in blood being shed, right?

Why is Casey's defense running this into the ground?

Also, it's hilarious that four people got kicked out of court for falling asleep. You KNOW they had to feel like idiots after (presumably) camping out overnight in front of the courthouse/probably getting in a brawl/missing the chance to sell their position in line for hundreds of dollars. Jackasses.

because if a body is decomposing in a car, when it broke down, there should still be evidence of blood in the trunk. Once your skin breaks down, the blood would come out. There was no blood evidence in the car, so they're saying this proves that Caylee's body was never in the trunk.

This is trace evidence though. I would think the body would have to be in the car for some time before penetrating bags. A couple of days wouldn't do anything to the bag. Especially if it was double and triple bagged and she was possibly wrapped in a blanket?

I wouldn't either honestly. I don't think it was because she was annoyed with Cindy, more that since her and Cindy had a falling out and she wasn't watching Caylee so Casey could do as she pleased; Caylee became a real downer and not so much fun playing at being a mother when she bore the total responsibility. If she hadn't snatched Caylee up and left trying to show Cindy what for, I wonder if Caylee would be dead or alive now.....I don't think she will get murder one or death, probably second degree if that is on the table? Is it??

Oh, for sure. She can be charged with a lesser crime. She's been charged with other shit too, that she will definitely be convicted of, like lying to a police officer.

I know on some of the court show I watch they won't list other degrees of murder so the jury either has to convict of the charge the DA list or none at all so I am relieved that isn't the case here!! What is Baez upset about??
