Man charged after his elderly father dies in hot car

This guy fails at caring for his elderly parents. Ugh.

"Johansen said a check of neighboring police departments showed that Pressman had often left his parents "at restaurants, delis, McDonald's" while he worked as a bus driver. "This was a frequent practice, but as far as we know he had not left them in a car before," he said."

I wonder why he chose the car this time over an air-conditioned location.

What a sad story. That would be an awful way to go. I can barely stand being in my hot car long enough to open the sunroof and turn on the AC. The heat makes me feel like I'm choking. Poor old man.

This is just heartbreaking, he should have known better, but he was trying to care for them in some capacity. This story leaves me with a lot of questions - were there other family members? why didn't he leave them at home? how bad off mentally were the parents? It's sad.....

One bad choice is all it takes. Sounds like he was really not able to deal with his parents need money wise.

This kind of reminds me of when parents who could not afford child care where dropping kids off at parks, fast food place, ect..

    Sad indeed.
