I actually just got invited to a party in Lincoln Park with some lame Lincoln Park people.  I think I may pretend I have somewhere more interesting to go.

But the best way to celebrate is by blowing a chunk of it up!

White Castle is awesome.  Next day, not so awesome.  Hence the "slider" talk.  I used to be able to eat a ton of them as a kid. 

I had a dream last night that I was playing Black Jack and GWB was the dealer.  He gave me some 5 dollar bill so I could continue playing that was a "special" bill that had all this war stuff on it. I decided after that, I liked him. Then I became BFF's with a girl I got into a fist fight with.

Worst dream ever.

We used to have big bashes on July 4th.  My birthday is the 10th and hubby the 18th.  We started planning about two months in advance and made two HUGE ice luges.  For anyone that isn't familiar with the luge it's a huge triangular shaped block of ice that we painstakingly made two indents in.  Once it is finsihed you put it outside and pour booze down the lanes and drunk people stand at the bottom and suck in the booze as it exits the luge.

Aahhh, I was thinking it was Staci's party and you were being a jokester.  When I told my friend where it was at, she said "Is that Lincoln Park? I hate Lincoln Park."

No, Staci basically lives in my neighborhood.  Kind of Lincoln Parkish, but not really. 

I don't know why people hate Lincoln Park.  I've had fun there.  The people throwing this party, though, are people whose idea of fun is sitting around drinking cosmopolitans and listening to Madonna.  They're guys, too.  And "straight."  :lol:

Which is why sitting at home with a 12-pack sounds more exciting than going to that party.

EDIT:  And I would never, EVER call Staci lame.  :)  She rocks!

God, I love White Castle. For some reason, they never affected me in a bad way, and I do not have a cast-iron stomach.

When I was in NJ a few months ago, I made it a mission to track down a White Castle before going to the airport. The little bacon cheeseburgers never tasted so good.

I also plan my driving routes to hit Bojangles if possible.

I swear it has been hot, sunny and humid everyday for the last 4 weeks as I sit at my desk day after day and on the holiday I have off it's dismal, cool and rainy BLAH!
Two of my clients got admitted to the hospital last night so I'm going to go and visit them.
I did go watch some fireworks last night and I was impressed with some of them.  A few of them had a flag in the middle of the big round shower of lights.  That was pretty cool.

I'm working tonight...but it's cool.  From my vantage point high above Dallas, I can see fireworks from several different cities all at the same time - and I don't have to hear the noise...juts enjoy the sights.

Any of you go to DC 4th of July? The parade was pretty good, I loved the Hare Krishna float, that was the best! But I was rather disappointed by the fireworks... I filmed most of it. Had to cut it up in 2 because it was longer than 10 minutes...
