Or your ex is dating someone younger?

I agree with this, or an in-law.

OK yea, my ex is trying to date someone much younger. She's 21 and he's 36. I guess I shouldn't care, right. We've been separated for 8 years and neither of us have dated so....WTF Seriously....Dammitt...I am a LOSER I KNOW! There......

That's not bad in my book of rules. Most important thing with the ex getting ivolved with someone is that if you have children she is good to them.

You know something? It would make you say "WTF?" no matter what her age is.... because after 8 years of neither of you dating - it is gonna hurt.
BUT I am pretty sure that the younger thing is kinda like lemon juice AND salt on a paper cut.
So sorry...

I get the feeling that even after 8 years, you still have a lot of feelings for him. Does he know? It is hard seeing someone you love with someone else. Especially to think that she is a lot younger than you.
So as a general rule the age difference is ok, but in your case it stings.

Awww...
It's hard when the ex starts dating, particularly in a situation like this. I don't think it's weird that it's freaking you out. Now, if they're still dating two years from now and you're still freaking out about it, that would be weird. But you gotta let yourself feel how you feel before you can move on.

I think the first relationship a partner gets involved with after a break up hurts.....no matter if it is 8 days or 8 years.
Sorry you hurt.
Is it because you feel as though she is better looking than you because she is younger etc? Know people that have felt this before.
Boringgggggggggggggggg.

I'm sorry you have to deal with this. But looking at it without any feelings involved, it depends on the maturity of both individuals. Some 21 year olds should be with someone older because they're much more mtaure and got their shit together.
Suzanne Knight (21) brutally raped and devoured 3 toddlers while on a meth binge before hanging herself Marky69: If those toddlers didnt want to be eaten then they shouldnt of looked so god damned delicious. RIP Suzanne

I guess that explains the sensitivity. I'm sorry you are feeling icky about this. That sucks. They are both above the legal age of consent though so it's age isn't really an issue. You just need to go get yourself a young hottie to mess with. I only really think the age difference is weird if one person is below the age of consent. It might strike me as a little pathetic to see a 50 year old mackin on potential mates who are in their 20s but I don't really have a moral issue with it. Cheer up honey. There's a reason you don't want him.
Always be yourself. Unless you can be a unicorn.
One of my ex gf's did that...we were both 21 and she left me for a 36 year old whom she later married....ewww. Guess she wanted that "father figure". It struck me as odd, though (and a little disgusting to be honest). Add that to the fact that he was an asshole when I met him and my mind was made up.
Older guys want younger girls for a variety of reasons maybe...they're younger (the obvious), they're "something new and different", some chicks actually dig dating people old enough to be their father (ewww), maybe your ex is trying to validate his ability to attract that certain type of young lady.
Either way...I'm sure there are reasons as to why he's your "ex"...and if he's scamming on 21 year olds...you're probably better off.
Don't like what I have to say? I respect that. Go fuck yourself.

Haha, mad boring, I think, although I'm bummed that I'm leaving when they're finally building a community center.
I'm moving to Maui.

I understand. My ex is 46 and married a 27 yr old. I found myself judging him for that, but when I was 21 and he was 36 it was all good! We tend to judge exes a lot.
Unless you are really involved in your ex's life and have some sort of influence.......sometimes you have to just step away and say "fuck it".....
I don't know you or your situation, but unless she's 17 you really can't do anything but cause, or be included in drama.
If you have kids and she treats them badly, then by all means, go after her.
Maybe get you a bit of young stuff too, may do wonders for your attitude over the situation. :-D
My ex is 53, I'm 23.. When we dated he was 49 and I was 19.. It was the most horrendous thing I've yet to experience in my adult life.
Plus, he couldn't keep it up [s]sometimes[/s] ever

He would flop it around everywhere. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!
