Twins! I ate like a queen. Thanks AmeriCorps VISTA! It was a perk to making a god awful "living allowance" in order to be of service to america or some shit.
Tara, it wasn't meant to offend. It was a play on 6 haunted days smite of TPT saying she was on welfare. No offense intended.
My mom had to use food stamps sometimes when I was a kid and applied for welfare but was rejected. So it would be pretty hypocritical of me to actually make fun of someone for being on welfare and recieving food stamps.

[/quote]I got $300 a month in food, and I ate about 1/6 of that, so I would buy Phil's groceries, and he would buy me cigarettes/alcohol/magazines/books/DVDs. :lol: Because he would eat $100 for, like, breakfast.

[/quote]Oh, I know you weren't. I'm just saying. I had a job ($8/hr at the hospital), but I also went to school full-time, and my parents wouldn't really speak to me let alone give me monies, and it was horribly embarrassing, but it helped me when I needed it.
AND now I have a good job and make decent money and give what I can to charity. But if not for food stamps, I'd be straight fucked.
